  • Age on 28th February 2018, should be below 32 years for male and 35 years for female candidates.
  • Research experience of two years after obtaining a post-graduate degree in the science subjects listed above or bachelor’s degree in case of medical/engineering/technology subjects is the basic requirement.
  • Original research paper with single authorship will be acceptable. The work should have been carried out in the State of Chhattisgarh and not presented/ published elsewhere is an essential requirement.
  • Awardees of previously held Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Congress shall not be eligible for participation, for a period of three years, from the date of the last award.
  • Kindly note that Plagiarism will be checked and summarily rejected if found to contain plagiarised material.


A certificate with a cash prize of Rs. 21000.00. Single visit shall be provided for pursuing his/her research work in any National laboratory/Research Centre/ Recognized University engaged in advanced research in India for two months duration. Awardees will be eligible for TA/DA during their stay in research establishment as per the norms of the council. He/She has to avail the facility within two years of receiving the award.

Research papers are invited from Young Research Fellows, Post-Doctoral Fellows, National Associates and Faculty Members working in any recognized private, government or autonomous body.

  1. Abstract in two copies must be of minimum 100 words and maximum 250 words of original Research work is to be submitted.
  2. Abstract must be in the following pattern:
  3. Subject/discipline, under which it is to be included, should be written on top left corner.
  4. Title in capital and bold letters, font size 14.
  5. Name, institution, e-mail address font size 12.
  6. The entire abstract must be on A-4 size white sheet in space of 25 cm length and 1 cm width.
  7. It must be typed in single space using MS-word in Times New Roman, Font Size 12.
  8. The abstract sheet should not be folded.
  9. An author should submit the ABSTRACT AND FULL PAPER IN SOFT COPY through e-mail to “” otherwise it will not appear in the Abstract Volume.
  10. The discipline in which paper is to be considered should be clearly marked on the envelope.
  11. The duration of oral presentation will be of 20 minutes followed by 5 minutes discussion.


Five copies of the full paper to be submitted for evaluation, must be prepared in the following sequence:

  1. Title
  2. Name/Institutional Address/Email id .
  3. Abstract.
  4. Introduction.
  5. Experimental details, methods,
  6. Observation and results
  7. Discussion
  8. Acknowledgment
  9. Reference according to the guidelines of Elsevier Publishers.
  10. The paper must indicate the materials etc.   discipline under which it is to be considered.


  • The last date for submission of Abstract and Full-length paper for Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Congress – 2018 has been rescheduled as below mentioned programme-
    • Conference Date: 27th & 28th February 2018

    • Last Date of submission of Abstract and Full-length paper in soft Copy-: 5th February 2018

    • Last date of submission of Hard copy of Abstract, Full-length paper, and other related documents-: 10th February 2018

    • Last date of registration: 15th  February 2018

    All participants are requested to follow above timeline and further, any amendment in the timeline is not feasible.
